Discrimination based on OS?

While I don't want to sound like a crazy conspiracy theorist nut I
myself wouldn't put it past Micro$oft making some under-handed deals
to make it hard if not nearly impossible to do certain basic things
with any other OS than their own.  Look at what they did with OOXML,
the company went out of way (lied, cheated, paid off officials) to get
the format listed as a Standard and they didn't even use that
specification of OOXML in their M$ Office product.  Oh, and there is
the Proxy War they've fought against Linux using SCO, a company that's
been virtually destroyed by that war.
