Since I have been unable to figure out how to reply to a post on sounder
I will have to unsubscribe. I posted this FCC and the Internet thread
with the Idea of expressing my opinion and have very much enjoyed the
many responses and have come to a few conclusions.
The first is that some completely trust Government which seems to me
like blowing in a wolfs nose with no expectation of loosing your own.
Then there is at least one who is a spelling, punctuation freak and
to him I'd like to say that my publisher supplies me with an editor so
I guess he cares only about the content of what I write. So I never edit
my spelling and being somewhat dyslexic I can't spell worth a damn.
It thought it odd that no one seemed to wonder why there is a Net
Neutrality bill at all since I doubt that any of us have gotten together
donated a million dollars to write such a bill. Who are it's
constituants? Is it only only the federal Government that has an
interest in such a bill. Seems odd that no one is willing to lobby for
it and yet Uncle Sam is willing to supply it to us who didn't even know
we needed it until they told us so. Sounds like funny business??
There is also at least one who has some opinion about communists,
socialists and Nazis but I am not sure what that is. I have noticed that
he equates these groups to America in some way, who has spent most of
it's national wealth struggling against these Ideas and seems now to be
loosing the battle. I hate it because it is likely the only other
thing I don't understand beside Sounders reply method.
Thanks all this has been interesting.
Doug
