Indeed I hadn't noticed this reply before. Of course I realise that
tax-payers are funding the service, I'm not blinkered to the fact that
the public as a whole is a stakeholder in a service that may not even
by needed by each and every person who pays. However, unless you can
stomach the idea of people dying through inadequate healthcare, this
seems to me the only fair and just way of guaranteeing that healthcare
is available to those who need it most.
If you want to talk about scroungers, penny pinchers and layabouts
from your position of privelige then I hope you can see how
reprehensible that is - and if you can't then you're simply
uneducated. Go and read some Plato.
