Ah! Interesting. Didn't know that. But then, MS did this with Hotmail
for years - mail client access was a paid feature. For a while I used
a small Windows freeware tool called Hotmail Popper but then they went
payware and I stopped until a Thunderbird addon became available.

Now, no hassle - but then I don't really use a native email client any
more, anyway.
