Just as an aside, this isn't really a support list; you may have been
aiming for ubuntu-user?
Anyway, you can't do this with a redirect since you're changing ports,
and redirects can't do that.
What you need is Apache's mod_proxy (assuming you're using Apache).
It's very easy to set up an open proxy (which would be A Bad Thing),
but it's not too hard to avoid it, either. There are plenty of examples
on the net, which you'll probably find easier to find now that you know
what to look for :)
