Most new DE's will have bugs, that's a given, and to expect otherwise
is ludicrous.  Look at the terrible mess Aero Glass was on Windows.
Well, its still a mess, but I think Unity will prove itself to be far
more stable.  I've also found Compiz to be very stable, and overall
its the best desktop compositor for Linux I've ever used.

I've noticed that Microsoft added Compiz-like zooming and inverse
color features to Aero Glass for Windows 7.  Hope they insurance on
those Xerox machines, they sure do use them an awful lot.

So true my good man.

Also, I haven't known a single release of Ubuntu or ANY operating
system that's been perfect or without someone having some kind of
problem.  So the statement by glgxg is true of EVERY Ubuntu release.
