Hello Technical Board,

On behalf of the Xubuntu team, I'd like to qualify Xubuntu 26.04 as an LTS
release, supported for 3 years. Xubuntu has participated in every LTS and
non-LTS release for nearly 20 years, with Xubuntu 26.04 marking our 20-year
anniversary as a recognized flavor.

Key contacts include myself (bluesabre), Unit193, and Pasi Lallinaho
(knome). We have several other active members of the team, but the three of
us generally drive the project, with Unit193 and me having full upload
permissions to support the LTS release.

Our support plan is generally limited to security and bug fixes for the
Xfce package set, but our team also maintains packaging for several
applications and has sponsored patches for e.g., blueman in the past. Most
packages come from Debian and are maintained upstream by the Debian Xfce
Maintainers team, with whom we also work closely. We maintain both the
Xubuntu desktop and Xubuntu Minimal images and will continue to do so
throughout the 3-year support period.

Please let us know if there's any additional information needed to proceed.

Thank you,

Sean Davis
Xubuntu Technical Lead
