Problem still exists in Ubuntu 12.10

LDAP user authentication and nfs mounted home dirs. (the entire /home
directory is exported from the server and is mounted by clients).
Partialy fixed by installation of nslcd, did not do #5

Attempting to login immediately after the login screen loads results in
the unlocking sound, but takes me instantly back to the login screen.
After waiting for a while I can login correctly, same as #61

Interestingly, before I'm taken back to the login screen I get a black screen with the text:
    mountall: disconnected from plymouth
But I'm not sure it's related
