Hi, could you post the output of
xsetwacom --list 

That may print nothing, from what I can see the X230t doesn't have a
wacom touch screen, but I'd like to be sure.

Then please try the updated Onbord from our snapshot PPA at
https://launchpad.net/~onboard/+archive/snapshots

There's a chance that the recent touch fixes help you too. See 
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/onboard/+bug/1297692

If you can't type at first please reboot once and retry.
