it behaves like you say:
- with the standard trusty package, turning off the wacom driver's gesture support completely fixes the problem for onboard, but then I have no gesture support in other applications, which I use a lot
- the version from your PPA fixes the problem, even with wacom gesture support enabled, but then onboard has no multitouch support

So here are two ways of using onboard again, but it would be great if
both was possible at the same time: wacom gestures, and multitouch in
onboard.
