I still have this bug with Linux Mint 21.1 Cinnamon 5.15.0-69-generic.

Arduino Mega 2560 RobotDyn R3 over micro USB, syslog:

usb 3-6.4.6.1: ch341-uart converter now attached to ttyUSB0
usb 3-6.4.6.1: new full-speed USB device number 49 using xhci_hcd
usb 3-6.4.6.1: New USB device found, idVendor=1a86, idProduct=7523, bcdDevice= 2.62
usb 3-6.4.6.1: New USB device strings: Mfr=0, Product=2, SerialNumber=0


Meantime I had to remove sudo apt get remove brltty
