orca

Hi, has anyone else tried the live CD with orca.
It doesn't seem to work.
I even had my daughter click on orca to start it. 
It says enter y or n but there is no message on the screen, and pressing y or n does nothing.
Restarting gnome and then orca only gives the same message.
Any ideas.
