Right, some braille displays (e.g. from Handytech and Papenmeier) are
autodetected by whinfo, wich is also part of Debian and Ubuntu.

Yes, SuSE uses SuSE-Blinux, aka SBL. Actually, SBL doesn't offer an API
such as brlapi, wich could be used by Gnopernicus.
