Dapper/ Testing a11y F5

Hey, I finally got a computer to test dapper stuff!

During my first booting from edubuntu-install cd I was very surprised
there is an option for a11y. HOWEVER, I tried 2 of the 5 or 6 options at
pressing F5 key (dont remember quite well) and nothing different
happened from a normal edubuntu beta install.

Is this supposed to work? only in special machines/hardware? Should a11y
apps. work for/at normal pc's (no touchscreen, no braile keynoards,
etc)?

As this is my first time giving a11y a try, I apologize I have no idea
what to expect.
