Hello,
Virtual Magnifying Glass is designed for visually-impaired and others
who need to magnify a part of the screen. Unlike most similar programs
it does not open a separate window for the magnification but instead
puts a movable magnifying glass on screen.
We are proud to announce the release of the 3.3 version, and we would
like to call for people to test it and submit bug reports about
missing functionality or problems you encouter while using it, about
any functionality that would be useful.
You can download the magnifier here:
http://magnifier.sourceforge.net/
The magnifier executable installed on /usr/lib is now called vmg, so
it doesn't conflict with other tools.
A detailed change log is available here:
http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=712521
Detailed documentation in both pdf and rtf formats also ships with the
magnifier.
I would like to also offer a Debian/Ubuntu package, but I never
created one, so any help is appreciated.
thank you for your attention,
