problems with orca

Hi, I downloaded the latest live CD today and got the following message when running orca.
X-Antivirus: avast! (VPS 000753-2, 07/03/2007), Outbound message
X-Antivirus-Status: Clean

Welcome to orca setup. My daughter said a message on the screen says speech will not be used. Anyway after that message I loose speech. Does anyone know when this might be fixed. Some work must have been done. Because on the CD from a weed ago speech didn't work at all unless you installed speech-dispatcher. 
   We got the operating system installed, but I still get the same message when starting orca. I installed speech-dispatcher, but something has changed because when running orca setup it still gives the welcome to orca message and crashes.
