Hi, just a update for anyone who is interested. I have been experimenting with the ubuntu installation I did from windows a few days ago.
So far, I have to say it seems pretty stable. The windows installer was very accessible, and the system seems to work fine.
One thing, there is no way of knowing when the install is finished. It use to be you could press enter and if the install was done, the CD would come out.
Apparently this has changed. Even when I installed from the latest live CD on a linux partition, I had to have a sighted person click restart before the CD would come out.
