capturing video

Hi, I have several vhs tapes of family videos I need to convert to a file that will play using a computer.
Does anyone know of a program that works well with orca that can do this. I would be feeding the tapes in using a capture device.
I started on this project a few weeks ago. But other things came up, so I am just now getting back to it.Thanks for any help, Mike.
