Hi Don,
I use Universal USB Installer.
It offers to make a persistence file.
I have read that one should always make a persistence file within 512 MB ranges, like 512, 1024, 2048, etc.
Here's a link:

Subject: maybe off topic but how do I setup orca on a flash drive

Hello,

It has been a number of years since I have used Ubuntu and then it was always on an installed version.

I was using a desktop system that had a dvd drive so I could install from the burned dvd.

Now none of my systems have dvd or cd drives, so I need to get a working copy of Ubuntu on a flash drive that I can run on my dell or linovo systems to perform system maintenance.

Are there any "good docs on how to setup Ubuntu on a flash drive with persistence?
