But you'll also have to do research on the hardware. The reason the
Nexus 7 and Nexus 4 are popular targets is that they're easily available
in an "unlocked" state. Simply having "root" isn't always enough on
phone/tablet hardware. (Just ask any of us who hit the SBK transition on
the Asus Transformer...)
