[ubuntu-ar] Problema con VGA

Cunado quiero instalar o arrancar Ubuntu v7 siempre me aparece este error:
"[  0.424000] ..MP-BIOS bug:8254 timer not connected to IO-APIC¨
 [  0.424000] Kernel panic- not spyncing: IO-APIC timer doesn't work! Boot with apic=debug and send a report. Then try booting with 'noapic' option"
 
Hice una maquina virtual sin el VGA ( mi targeta es una XFX Geforece 7300GT) y pude instalarlo, si pudieras decirme como solucionar esto te estaria etrnamente agradecido.
