[ubuntu-ar] No puedo arrancar ubuntu desde mi disco externo

Hola! Acabo de instalar Ubuntu 10.04 en mi disco externo de 500gb, en el
cual hice una particion de 30gb para justamente realizar ahi la instalacion.
El problema es que cuando reinicie la PC, seleccione que bootee desde el
USB, pero de todas maneras inicio con el Debian que tengo instalado en la
maquina. Segun lei en algunos foros tengo que modificar el archivo grub.cfg,
pero en este caso no me deja modificarlo.
