[Bug 53540] I have SERIOUS problem with running Ubuntu installed from offical website

I have recently downloaded Ubuntu Live on my Windows XP. I unzipped all
the file in a folder copied the files from that folder on to a CD and
the burned it.Rebooted my computer with CD Rom as preference of boot and
still it doesnt work...can anyone help me solve this problem....

i would really appriciate some help
