I hope that current kdar users who are unaware of the removal will be
properly informed.

I can't help feeling guilty. Because I reported a bug in kdar, I
contributed in the _removal_ of a very nice piece of software that was
once the work of one or more passionate developers. Sometimes I wish I
hadn't added my comments to the bug report and just shut up my big
mouth... :-(
