Please sync fmit (universe) from Debian unstable (main).
Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
A new upstream release was uploaded to Ubuntu, and the TODO patch dropped. A newer upstream version is now in Debian, with an updated TODO patch.
Changelog since current gutsy version 0.97.5-0ubuntu1:

* upstream-fix: Immediate segfault problem. Closes: #403567.
