Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
The xjewel package in gutsy needed the xfonts-utils package as a build depend in order to be built successfully. This is no longer needed for the latest Debian revision.

xjewel (1.6-23) unstable; urgency=low

  * Fix nostrip build. Closes: #438297
