Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:

Debian has updated the maintainer field and has made several changes 
notably made the package to build and run using openjdk so ubuntu 
changes can be dropped.

Changelog since current intrepid version 1:3.9.1-1ubuntu1:

libwoodstox-java (1:3.9.2.dfsg-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * Now using ant.mk for the build
  * Can now build and run using openjdk
  * Moving to main !
  * Pseudo new upstream release for the transition to main
    - updated debian/watch to skip the .dfsg bit in the version number
