Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
Our patch are now unnecessary, the package builds fine in a karmic build-env.

Changelog since current karmic version 1:2.3-1ubuntu1:

haxe (1:2.4-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New upstream version (CVS 2009-08-01).
  * Removed obsolete parts of the copyright file now that ExtLib is 
    not included anymore.
  * Included patch for Ubuntu location of zlib, thanks to Alessio Treglia.
    (Closes: #533159)
  * Removed haxe-mode to get it into its own package.
    (Closes: #521222)
  * Included new commands in bash_completion.
  * Removed obsolete Lintian overrides.
  * Bumped Standards-Version to 3.8.2, no change.
