Hi,

It seems python-mlt2 only has content for python2.5, because of python-mlt2.install file:
src/swig/python/mlt.py usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/
src/swig/python/_mlt.so usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/

So it should be a merge rather than a sync (or fix that in Debian).
