There is an alternative : http://pysdm.sourceforge.net/ , but it does
not manage UUID

Concerning disk-manager, a French contributor has created a DEB package
for Lucid (http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?pid=3554670#p3554670
, DEB here : http://www.mediafire.com/?5y3ol3mzjn2), and points out that
disk-manager is still in Debian's repositories.

=disk-manager), and that even if buggy, it is still better than manually
editing Fstab.
