Please note that the version currently in Maverick is broken.

The new version is in experimental since more than three weeks.
I also maintain a ppa for this package ( https://launchpad.net/~malaria/+archive/ppa ).

So far, no one complained about this new version, so I assume it is
quite stable (at least, I'm confident this update will not destroy your
computers ;-))
