** No longer affects: guake (Ubuntu)
** Description changed:
- The old vte source hasn't been maintained upstream since 2011 (when
- GNOME 3 was released). vte will be dropped from Debian Testing soon. We
- should not ship it in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. The replacement is provided by
- source vte2.91 (which requires gtk3).
+ NOTE
+ ====
+ Debian's debian-installer (specifically cdebconf-gtk-terminal I believe) uses a udeb from the old vte package. See https://bugs.debian.org/887649

The geany-plugins will be "fixed" in Debian soon by no longer building
them.
sjterm was already requested for removal in LP: #1728241
guake's removal was requested in LP: #1739800
