1) kernel was cranked using out of date kteam-tools which at the time
reverted fwinfo.builtin updates
2) intel driver patches introduce whitespace
Some of them introduce trailing whitespace, and thus lead to errors.
I.e.
NOTE: Whitespace errors detected.
You may wish to use scripts/cleanpatch or scripts/cleanfile
When cherrypicking/applying patches, it would be nice to run them
through scripts/cleanpatch or scripts/cleanfile. Please clean patches
whitespace in the ubuntu trees; or in whichever trees these patches are
taken from.
3) config changes look good
4) secureboot / lockdown / security code paths are not changed. IWLMEI
backports potentially can be used for remote attacks, however these
patches are being reviewed and integrated into vanilla kernels too. We
must ensure to keep IWLMEI backports up to date.
5) I see that https://bugs.launchpad.net/intel/+bug/1929895 was present
in linux-intel kernel, but I don't see those patches in intel-iotg
kernel. Is this intentional, or a temporary omission?
6) dependent packages look good.
Follow-up required for items #1 #2 #5
** Changed in: kernel-sru-workflow/sru-review
Status: Confirmed => Fix Released
