** Description changed:
Please remove these packages from Ubuntu to allow the rust-block-padding
transition to complete. All of these have already been removed from
Debian Testing.
rust-block-buffer-0.9
rust-sha-1-0.9
rust-sha2-0.9
rust-sha3-0.9
rust-ipfs-unixfs
rust-cid-npm
I have found these dependencies by using searches like this:
https://codesearch.debian.net/search?q=path%3Adebian%2Fcontrol+rust-block-buffer-0.9&perpkg=1
since my usual tools to identify reverse dependencies can't handle the
virtual packages used heavily in Debian Rust packages.
Debian
------
- Debian removal bugs have been filed for all of these except for rust-block-buffer-0.9 & rust-cid-npm. The rust-cid-npm maintainer is working on packaging a new release but it needs new dependencies to be packaged and it's seen as easier to keep broken packages in Unstable than go through the NEW queue again.

Original bug report
-------------------
The rust-block-padding library is unable to migrate because rust-block-buffer-0.9 has a versioned dependency on it[1]
Upgrading rust-block-buffer library dependency or providing rust-block-
padding-0.2 and using it as the dependency will unblock the migration.
