He sat and pondered.

Realizing the gods were not happy, he went
to the volcano with a flurry of last ditch
effort to appease them.  With references to
the past, and the hope of the future, he 
stood on the edge...

"If the great GDM shall stand," he said
"Let it stand with peers."

"One palette to rule them, five colours
to bind them, and let them have
the mark of human.  May the gods be happy."

And he threw it in.
