Hey,

i like your Nautilus proposal very much, Francois. Would be nice to have 
something like this.
But I don't know anything about implementation. Maybe it's easier with 
murrine?

Regarding icons, I don't have much time the next few days ..
but you can find some proposals for the category-icons in the 
application menu and a gftp-icon (symbols in foreground taken from 
snowish theme) here:

Tell me, which ones you like ..

P.S.: How do you tell Thunderbird to write quotation symbols (">"), when 
answering in plain text mode ?
