Oh wonderful... if people will start complaining when they receive a thumbs
down...
Dudes, please be more serious and accept criticism, critics are used to
improve your work, highlighting what could be improved. It's not blaming, it
is "feedback".
If someone says your work is not good, maybe you should start reading what
he is saying, and not answering back saying he was simply wrong without
accepting his critics.
You asked for receiving an opinion, not to receive compliments. If you want
to receive compliments increasing your ego just move in other places and not
in a artist mailing list.
Getting back on the topic, this is the impression I got, so you must accept
it and work on fixing your theme.
Also, two transparent widgets mixed up each other are not enough to make a
good theme. Transparency also involves a lot of issues and rants about
usability.
So please, try to start another work without transparency, trying to respect
current GTK+ application design (a ripoff of the Apple Finder is totally
useless for a themer, it gives no idea of a new skin), trying to work on
each widget, one by one.
Do you know the widget factory? it is a small application that shows more
frequent widgets.
Take this image, and go having a mockup over it, try to redesign each
widget:

This is the right way to follow, otherwise is just a waste of time.
Cheers
