The panel should be handled in other ways - by specifying exceptions
like widget_class in gtkrc. But remember this is only prototyping for
what the real engine will look like in the future.

Probably but we cannot tell this for sure before we know every option
and property of the engine.

No it is not yet ready for release. I planned to make a relatively
complete icon theme with a widget prototyping and then we will release
v0.5 wit two gtkrc : custom pixmap widgets and a default clearlooks'
ones. By the way you should not add that NORMAL button style as the last
image {...} is for it. I switched the roles of the normal and prelight
button to match the light direction of the theme. If we use the idea of
Francois for title and menunbar the we should use button-default for the
default button image.



Francois can you fix the sound  and other taskbar icons to have a very
thin gray outline, darker than the default windows gray bg color because
now the icon in totem for example is not so visible.

Now if we want to make a good finished theme we need other widgets as
well. We will only use the pixmap engine to make the whole prototyping
and drop clearlooks and murrine for a while.

I attach a pixmap theme with subfolders. Francois can you make
replacements all the widgets' images inside them? If you make them I
will assemble them together to make a pixmap prototype of the theme.
Please try to use as less gradients as possible!
