Skype Sound and Upgrade to Feisty 7.04 and Sylpheed claws email program

Hi Folks,

Has anyone got an idea how to get the sound going in Skype. When testing
it, the voice  comes on, saying to speak a test message
for 10 seconds and to wait till the voice comes back. Well my voice does
not come back indicating fault somewhere.

With the up n coming upgrade for Feisty Fawn 7.04, there are a number of
ways to do the upgrade. I ask you all which is best, using the 'gui' or
the 
the 'Terminal'. I realise, that the date is 19Apr, but maybe 20April for
Australia ??, seeing we are ahead of the Yankies timewise.

I have been cured of the Sylpheed Claws   Email program and I am back on
Evolution mail. The funny thing was the 'Ubuntu List news' came back
automatically, since it stopped arriving with the introduction of the
Claws program.
