If you have a URL or text in, say, an editor or a terminal (small), then
making that editor or terminal "always on top" will keep it above your
browser - thus you can highlight and paste, for example, from that small
window, without affecting the browser.

That is, the editor/terminal/whatever-is-on-top will stay put until you
uncheck/untick that option.

Is that what you meant? It seems to do what it says on the tin here, at
least...
