That's my understanding, too. I use Ubuntu on my PPC machine which is  
why I mentioned it. There are many Mac users - and pensioners such as  
myself are among that number - who cannot or will not be able to keep  
up the hardware to go with future incarnations of Mac OS X (ten).  
That's why I went to Linux in the first place and while I don't use  
it every day, I'm slowly getting to know it for the fateful day when  
Apple are going to go one step too many for my pocket. For many other  
diehard Mac users, Apple has already done that and unless Linux is  
available, there are only two other viable options. The Dark Side or  
no computer. Either is a "fate worse than death" ;-)

Have a great gathering in Briz - it's a tad too far from Deception  
Bay for me but they'll be plenty of Ubuntu-niks closer to Paddington  
than DBay.
