Australian repository gone AWOL?

This used to be the au mirror - apparently uwa couldn't handle the size of
the archive, or the load ( I forget which).

Hence the change to Optus. 

My impression, to be frank, is that Optus don't really care about it.
Before they were the "official" au Ubuntu mirror, at one stage they failed
to update for several months. When I pointed this out at the time, I was
told that * I *  should address the problem upstream - they claimed it
wasn't their fault.

Notice that I am an optusnet customer, yet the onus was placed on me to
correct the issue - interesting approach ;-)

I have just now ( somewhat churlishly I suppose) sent them a link to an
article about "best practice" with regard to failover and
backup server solutions ;-)
