I am assuming you are talking about one of those raid devices where you set up the RAID in the BIOS, and install Windows drivers that transparently make use of it. This RAID, otherwise known as fake RAID, can be accessed using a tool called dmraid. I've never used it myself, but it can read many of the BIOS fake RAID implementations that exist out there.
