I listened (read) with rapt attention to the Ubuntu Netbook Remix (UNR) Q&A session of Ubuntu Developers' Week on freenode this last week and I'm now 
considering purchasing a netbook for my wife and one for my daughter.  I've glanced over the UNR website and like what I see.  My questions to the 
group are:

What netbooks are best for use with UNR?
What extra configuration steps were required to get UNR up and running on your netbook?
How has Ubuntu performed on your netbook?
