Problems running wubi.exe on window 7

Hi Ubuntu list

When running the wubi.exe file on windows 7, the Ubuntu Installer windows presents, and when I complete filling the required fields, I click on "Install" to run installer.  Ubuntu-11.10 commences to download, and install, but presents a window called "Ubuntu Installer", with the following error message:
An error occurred:
Unsubscriptable object

For more information, please see the log file:
C:\users\username\appdata\local\temp\wubi-11.10-rev245.log

The installation however continues until it gets about halfway and then stops, and doesn't go any further

My attempts to find the log file however, fail because the file does not exist.........

Can anyone assist me to enable the Ubuntu Installer to complete..
