No, absolutely not.

So, it was 10:45 and I'd done 8 hours of work and 3.5 hours of meetings
after that and I had a headache.
If looked and found the answer was "yes" I'd post "well done for putting
in the debian control files", I'm not trying to satisfy my own
curiosity, I'm trying to get the message as well known as it typically
hasn't been that:

The GPL requires the same source you build from to be made available
(and that includes the .deb source) and that the easiest way to do this
is to put it in the same repository as the .deb

My personal satisfaction has nothing to do with it, but keeping on the
right side of the law is an essential part of backporting activities.
I care whether or not Ubuntu backporters get investigated by the FSF
compliance labs, I care about maintaining GPL freedoms.
(I manage license compliance where I work BTW, it IS a pain but it needs
doing)

As it happens: Well done for putting in the debian control files.
Everyone take note, this is good and a legal requirement.

John, as I said a few weeks ago, I'm not trying to cause trouble, I want
to add to the solution not to the problem; I want to help make it EASY
to automatically keep the law in this respect, not a chore, hence my
suggestion about HTTP redirects in repositories.
