Due to API transitions or whatnot in Dapper, a dependency had to be tuned so
that it forces the build system to pick the Dapper version of the library.
When this package is built in a Breezy environment, it still looks for the
Dapper version of the dependency, which can't be found.

how should I go about getting the latest version of rythmbox now?

The safest way is to use apt-get source to build it yourself.
