[Bug 51561] Kernel 2.6.15-25 USB problems

Public bug reported:

The latest 2.6.15 kernels in dapper have all had problems with USB
related issues.  For example syncing either palm pilot or ipod via USB
is not working.

This is apparently fixed in 2.6.17 kernel release.

Any chance of a new kernel with the USB fixes from the 2.6.17
backported?
