Seconded.
Additionally, the current package in Dapper has a build dependency
problem:
root at t2550cdt:~# apt-get build-dep gpsd
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Note, selecting libncurses5-dev instead of libncurses-dev
Package dbus-1-dev is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
However the following packages replace it:
libdbus-1-dev
Package dbus-glib-1-dev is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
However the following packages replace it:
libdbus-glib-1-dev
The following NEW packages will be installed:
build-essential debconf-utils debhelper docbook-xsl dpatch g++ g++-4.0 html2text lesstif2 lesstif2-dev libexpat1-dev libfontconfig1-dev
libfreetype6-dev libice-dev libncurses5-dev libpaper-utils libsm-dev libstdc++6-4.0-dev libx11-dev libxau-dev libxaw-headers libxaw7-dev libxdmcp-dev
libxext-dev libxft-dev libxi-dev libxmu-dev libxmu-headers libxp-dev libxpm-dev libxrender-dev libxt-dev x-dev x11proto-core-dev x11proto-input-dev
x11proto-kb-dev x11proto-render-dev x11proto-xext-dev xmlto zlib1g-dev
0 upgraded, 40 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
