Public bug reported:
Dapper needs turba2 >= 2.1 to be compatible with horde3. The version of
horde3 in dapper conflicts with turba2 < 2.1. This was added in horde3
3.1-2 to fix <http://bugs.debian.org/360231>. However, only turba2
2.0.5-1 is available in dapper. This problem is documented in
<https://launchpad.net/bugs/55786>.
Backport Requirements:
"Only packages currently in Ubuntu's development branches are eligible
for backporting." Check! It's in edgy.
"New packages MUST build cleanly from Debian source archives." Check!
Just tested, on my dapper system, and it works.
"No new libraries that have negative impact on ANY other system
component" Check! This is not a library, nor does it require any
libraries to be backported.
"No changes to language interpreters or compilers (python, mono, bash,
gcc/g++, etc)" Check! This is a webapp.
"Applications to be backported must have meaningful bug/security fixes
or features." Check! The version of turba2 in dapper is not installable
due to being too old.
** Affects: dapper-backports (upstream)
Importance: Undecided
Status: Unconfirmed
